A fragment of a copper alloy object of unknown date, potentially a leg from a vessel of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c. AD 1100-1800).
The object is circular and conical, starting at 14.43mm diameter near the top and tapering to 5.88mm diamter before the break at the bottom. There are the remains of two raised ribs, moulded in relief, that rub down opposite sides of the conical section of the object. At the top of the object it starts to broaden into what may have been the main body of the vessel. This section is irregularly shaped and is 16.93mm wide and 16.78mm thick. The object has a dark grey patina.
