The object is broadly an inverted triangle in plan. The upper part of the object is broadly rectangular. The object then tapers and curves into a bow and terminates with a break. At the reverse of the head are vertical lugs placed at either short edge. These were possibly to hold a spring and pin. The object has a well developed dark green coloured surface patina. Exact date and function are uncertain.
