This Machu Picchu structure is a double wayrana, also known as a huayrana. In Quechua, “wayrana” refers to an open building with only three walls.

It is situated in the eastern part of the Llaqta, within a larger complex commonly referred to as the Industrial District. This complex consists of ten buildings that are enclosed within a boundary. Although the layout of this complex appears to be planned and well thought-out, researchers propose that the building was added to an existing patio to meet usage demands during the 15th and 16th centuries.

The photogrammetric model was created using 144 photos taken with a Nikon D610. The model was processed using Reality Capture and edited in ZBrush and Blender. Only ground-level photos were taken during the capture, so the higher areas were edited to provide a complete model.
