WebODM - Lake Georgetown, Texas - Cliff3D Model
A cliff located near Lake Georgetown, Texas. The cliff is primarily composed of limestone (as almost of all of central Texas’ base rock is) which is represented by the model quite well.
The imagery for this model (103) was obtain using a DJI Phantom 3 Standard with the flight plan created using DroneDeploy. The model was reconstructed using the OpenDroneMaps’ web application WebODM. The open-source tool-chain creates georeferenced and orthorectified images (tiff and png), as well as 3D models (meshed and textured). This model is the georeferenced textured output with no additional postprocessing (note the holes in the back of the trees).
The entire model (and additional files) took approximately 3 hours to process.
