This application combines transport & welding application. Two single components (housing and cover) is transported to the welding area by two conveyor belts in rectangular configuration. Housing is lifted and transported to the welding position by a simple gripper mechanism. A pneumatic gripper places the cover onto the housing. After DMC reading, welding head incl. cover is driven onto the welding position. The welding nest rotates during welding. Welding residue is blown off by a nozzle and vacuumed up. The cover is released and the welded part is placed back onto the conveyor belt.
