More model informationPhotogrammetric model re-purposing images taken in 1988 using one of the Quadrapods made by Mike Corbishley for the exacavations at Wroxeter to map a large area of small post-holes. This area based on 1652 photographs taken using Kodak colour negative scans woere originally taken with a view to studying them with a stereoscope - to look at the nature of the minimalist ‘post-holes’ of excavated Early Anglo-Saxon timber buildings. After exactly 35 years the negatives were scanned and here is the result- no attempt has been made to mask the framework of the quadropod and yet the result is extraordinary. The red and white scales which were included in every photograph were graduated in 20cm segments.
