Yana (short form of Aiyana) was part of my bachelor thesis. In the past few weeks I polished her 3d model in my spare time and added more survival assets to her backpack. Modeling (+UVs) were done in Autodesk Maya and texturing in Substance Painter. Additional texture tweaking with Photoshop.
WHITEOUT is a classic 3D adventure game with parts of exploration and rogue-like. The development was part of my bachelor thesis (roughly three months). The player stumbles through a mystical snowy landscape and collects items. Which he can combine with each other and use them to get out of this horrific place. My main focus were the characters and the atmospheric staging within the Unity engine.
