The Williams Park Band Shell (8PI10460 on the Florida Master Site File), is a historic structure located in the City of St. Petersburg and is a City Parks and Recreation property. The building is located between 2nd and 1st Avenue North, and is in the Historic District area- made of metal and concrete with a unique roof and triangular-shaped design.
University of South Florida’s Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections (DHHC), worked with the City of St. Petersburg to record this structure and its current conditions as part of a survey to document resources in Williams Park. Terrestrial Laser Scanning using a FARO Focus3D 330 range model, included elevated and ground based scanning.
Photogrammetry and GPS survey was also conducted across the park and a conditions assessment from the scanning survey was presented. This model is derived from the laser scanning data.
