This project started as a low-poly final assignment for my first 3D class. I didn’t get to finish it quite the way I wanted, so now that my semester is over, I want to finish it properly! It will be done mostly with Maya, and I might bring the armor pieces into Zbrush to sculpt them and turn them into a bump map. I still need to finish the connection between the braid and the head, along with the amulet, talisman and final detail work/fixes.
The reference I used is from screen shots I took of my customized character from the mmorpg video game Black Desert Online (https://www.blackdesertonline.com/).
Notes on the differences between my model and the reference: I did remove the high heels and want to turn the mini shorts into full leggings since this is a personal project, I’m not a fan of those things in a combat setting. I think the original hairstyle was supposed to be a braid, so I turned it into one.
