More model informationAn incomplete copper alloy artefact of uncertain function and dating, but probably Post Medieval in dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
The artefact is rectangular in shape, with a circular cross section. It has a circular terminal with a square central hole, with a rectangular slot coming off one side. This end is hollow to a depth of 13.9 mm. The middle part is cylindrical, and then it curves down and flattens out. This terminal exhibits a patinated break. Lots of scars or V shaped removals are present all over the surface.
