The F32.8 wreck is a fragment of the port side of a vessel with a characteristic double clinker and carvel planking. The site is 9.5 meters long and 2.8 meters wide. An identified structure of the wreck is comprised of pine staves of planking laid edge to edge; levelling pine staves, triangular in a cross section; oak staves of clinker planking; elements of a transverse reinforcement made of oak frames and half-frames with pine treenails joining structural elements. The site is dated to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. So far, two other wrecks with double planking have been identified in the waters of the Bay of Gdańsk – the W-34 and W-36 wrecks, which were recovered from the water and are currently undergoing conservation works.
