Wuyang Que, unearthed from Jiangjun village in Zhongxian County, dates to the Han-Wei Dynasties (65-265 AD). Made of sandstone, this que stands 5.4m high and 1.7m deep, and was excavated in 2001 during the Three Gorges Culture Heritage Preservation Program. After restoration, it showcases dual-eaves, a hip roof top and double tiers, composed of ridge decoration covering the upper tier, fat stone elements in the lower tier, main body and base. Its distinctive features include wide eaves, broad main body and simple structure, giving it a straight and majestic appearance. The Green Dragon and White Tiger engravings on its body demonstrate the sophisticated sculpture arts of the Han Dynasty, making Wuyang Que a valuable cultural heritage for architectural research of the period.
