More model informationThe SSH-36 was a steel helmet made by the Red Army in 1936, designed by a Alexsandr Shvartz. made to replace the Adrian helmet and was the first soviet helmet design to be mass produced. it was intentionally made to look like the German Stahlhelm. the liner is made out of cloth which was very fragile and likes to rip if you hit your head, or if something hits your head. the very first time it was used it a war was in the spanish civil war where the soviet union helped the spanish goverment.
