Xenoblade 2 doesn’t give you a little visual on your collectibles like Xenoblade X does, so what better opportunity for an aspiring 3D modeler to practice?
The “Chain of Keys” is an important item in the main quest line, something you will need to dive into the cloud sea and salvage for. I would guess that it was conceived of by playing around with the term “keychain”, but I imagine it looks something like this, a bunch of key-looking parts all locked together, but not keys, and loose enough to move a bit like a chain.
If you look closely, you might notice that I’ve tried two different ways of sticking parts together, just to see if it’d make a difference to the casual observer. I think I can save myself some work if I were to make the simpler join in a game model.
