More model informationMy latest scan. I’ve built an automated cross-polarized rig, to extract the base color (diffuse albedo) and specular component (specular albedo). The mesh was reconstructed using diffuse albedo images. I used Substance Painter to tweak specular albedo into a plausible roughness map.
I can’t disclose much about it right now, since this is part of my masters thesis, which I’m still working on.
