Fruits (also referred to as berries, Apples, Nuts, and Yoshi Fruits) are a type of food originally found in Dinosaur Land, but they have also made appearances elsewhere. Like various other fruits, these grow on trees and bushes. Yoshis can eat them and, depending on the color of the fruit, get some kind of item. Fruits were first seen in Super Mario World.
