Description: ‘Ta’capta hoya’ globular bowl with incurving rim and flat base; dull stone polish interior and exterior. Red (yellow paste) fabric. Decoration: none on interior, exterior sports black-on-red geometric design. Ht.. 2 1/2” (6.5cm); Diameter at rim interior 2 1/4” (5.8cm); Rim wall 3/8” (.86cm); Capacity 7/8 cups sugar. Made by Lucille Namoki, (signed ‘Lucille Namoki’) and fired in an electric kiln. Wyckoff #38. Purpose of manufacture: Sale. Hopi, Old Oraibi, 3rd Mesa, Arizona, Southwest
