More model informationA sculpture of a Grevy’s Zebra, originally created for Marwell Zoo’s Zany Zebras sculpture trail and sponsored by the University of Southampton’s School of Biological Sciences. Look closely and you’ll see that Zebraversity is covered in a coat of animals, all of which are endangered species in Britain. This creates a tangible link between the threatened nature of the Grevy’s Zebra and the UK’s native species.
Next: the last set of sculptures on the trail can be found by leaving Valley Gardens and then following the path until it comes to an end. Turn right up the stairs and continue walking towards the road, cross this and turn left. You’ll see the Atlantes statues just on the right outside of Hartley Library.
