The top step of Fort Royal Castle on Lokrum, Croatia.

The Napoleonic castle was built during the French occupation of Croatia and I can only assume that this engraving was made by someone stationed at the fort during the Croatian War of Independence.

The fort sees a lot of traffic of people climbing to the top and so I thought this was an important annotation to document!
