3D Model

From 4 July to 5 August 2022, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE) organized the Field School Ship Archaeology Flevoland in collaboration with Batavialand. During the excavation of the early 16th-century watership in Zeewolde (Flevoland, the Netherlands), this almost complete stoneware pointed nose jug was recovered from the living area on board.

This type of jug, known in Dutch as a puntneuskruik, was produced in the Raeren or Aachen region and dates to the period 1475–1525.
