The Australian Institute of Marine Science’s (AIMS) Ecological Intelligence for Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (EcoRRAP) quantifies natural rates of ecological and genetic reef recovery and adaptation in response to acute and chronic disturbances and key environmental variables. This information is used to inform restoration interventions of RRAP, a collaboration across many research institutes and experts managed by AIMS.

This collection contains the models from images taken across different habitats on Heron Island, in the Capricorn Bunker Group, Great Barrier Reef, Australia, during May 2021, 2022, and 2023.

These models were created using EcoRRAP's photogrammetry standard procedures for taking images to reconstruct three-dimensional (3D) models over extents of 75 square meters with high precision in temporal co-registration (aims.gov.au/research-topics/monitoring-a...)
