This collection features a selection of objects that are on display at the Yorkshire Museum as part of our Roman York: Meet the People of the Empire exhibition.

These objects can be used to introduce pupils to key themes and ideas ahead of a visit to the Yorkshire Museum, or to reinforce their learning afterwards.

Each object comes with a description, annotations which provide further details, and some enquiry questions you may wish to use with your pupils in the classroom.
