We are pleased to announce that MyWebAR, a platform for designing and publishing augmented reality (AR) experiences, now supports the import of Sketchfab models directly into the app.
MyWebAR offers a browser-based, no-code interface for AR experience creation. Previously, users could browse and select from MyWebAR’s library of 1000+ 3D assets, but now they can access Sketchfab’s library of nearly a million free Creative Commons-licensed and premium Sketchfab Store 3D assets. To simplify using Creative Commons-licensed models, artist attribution is handled automatically by MyWebAR.
Finalized AR experiences can be shared via QR code tracking, image tracking, or world tracking. MyWebAR runs on iPhone & iPad iOS 12 or newer, Smartphones & Tablets Android 5 or newer, and Windows, MacOS or Chrome OS Laptops.
