Caraun Point North East House

Achill Archaeological Field School is excavating one of the houses on Caraun Point this year. This is not the house undergoing excavation this season, but it is one of the four house outlines visible at the moment. Caraun Point has been seriously effected by erosion and, as this occurs, some features are being revealed and some are in danger of being eroded onto the beach below. This is currently the Northernmost house visible at Caraun Point.
