More model informationThis stone pendant was found at Skara Brae, Bay of Skaill, Orkney and dates from the late Neolithic (c.2900-2400 BC).
This artefact was manufactured from a piece of Orcadian flagstone and has been carefully shaped by to resemble a talon or tooth. Numerous teeth and boars tusk pendants, along with thousands of bone beads, were found at Skara Brae, but this is the only example made from stone.
