House on the Hill
First attempt at rendering a point cloud from a drone. My partner took several hundred slightly offset photographs with her drone. I was able to pull them into VisualSFM and generate a point cloud, which I then pushed out to Meshlab to for surface reconstruction and texture mapping. This is the resulting model. The resolution is low, largely because I was rendering this on a laptop with integrated graphics and only 4GB of RAM, but as a proof of concept, it’s pretty great.
