More model informationParys Mountain, Amlwch/Rhosybol/Penysarn has evidence of minning back to the bronze and Roman times but its heyday was the 18-19 century.
The model is a laser scanned point cloud of The Pearl Engine House, which contained a steam driven pump which pumped water from the Pearl Shaft, located nearby. It is situated on the north west side of the main workings. The chimney was refurbished in 2013 after being blown down in a storm some years earlier.
