This large slab approx 8ftX4ft rests on a tomb to John Baxter, baker who died 20th October 1609 and Helen Seyton. The stone features effigies of both along with Arms of Baxter and Seyton above their heads.

“Conditur hic vir providus Joannes Baxter pistor burgen de Dundie qui obiit 20 Octobris 1609 et Helena Leyton yir sposae” “Ve live to die, and deiis to live for ever.”
