Ares Aerospace is proud to present our most advanced small craft to date, the newest iteration of our legacy cutter design, the ASDF DPC-1 Areadhbar!

The Areadhbar is a FB-5A pattern Keres II Class Defensive Patrol Cutter. A small and tough, yet well armed warship, intended for isolated deployment in low to mid threat level environments. ideally suited to light piracy suppression, reconnaissance, light escort missions, customs/border patrol duties, while simoultaneously capable of filling the role of light bomber if deployed in squadrons of 3-6 during larger fleet engagements.

The primary weapons package consists of a pair of Mk 600 Light Anti-Shipping Energy Torpedo Projectors mounted along the centerline of the ventral hull and a prow mounted cutting edge Mk 1800 Light Plasm Pulse Cannon . This weapons suite is ideal for engaging lightly defended drones and fighters, while still capable of limited penetration versus advanced armor alloys.
