Original concept of a stylized Monk-type character I made about a year ago. I didn’t actually concept her in the Overwatch style, but I wanted to push myself to finally model her. I decided to combine my desire to study the Overwatch aesthetic and learn techniques for stylized hair by tweaking the concept to better match the game’s look. I would’ve liked to model her in full, but scoped only a bust of the upper body due to a deadline of less than 4 weeks on top of other work. I added to the quite unpolished base concept a bit and gained lots of experience in new techniques for future work.
The model’s LoD is a bit between game-res and cinematic, boasting a high poly count and high res textures for just a bust. I would definitely cut it back if/when I model the whole character.
