Dodge Viper, racing skin (Around 80k tris)
Ingame model that has been created using Maya and Substance Painter. Some features were touched up in Zbrush, to smooth the body form etc.
This is not a purchased model and has been totally created by me.
The texture was done entirely in Substance Painter, appart from converting some textures to PNG for SP.
I did it as an exercise to go deeper into Substance Painter.
I also wanted to make this car similar to the models found in Gran Turismo, for the PS3. I discovered those cars use 250k tri’s so I managed to get a similar look with 150k less polygon’s. That said I haven’t done the underneath and the exterior is simple at this stage, so slightly simplified in that sense.
