This was the removable tape we added to give some texture for Artec EVA to follow. With Artec EVA lite, this would not work. This was a quick test, improved texture like thin line X crosses, would inprove tracking and registration, as would a pattern all over the door. The white areas are the reflection of the our door surroundings and the scanner. No white powder spray was used. Its a new car, who would let you do that !
