@nebulousflynn Can you take a look again for @ssh4?
@britishmuseum really? Normals still show carved strokes. May be sketchfab allow flip normals without reuploading new texture?
thanks @ssh4 - we've made some changes based on your feedback :)
Or someone overplayed with normal map calculation ;) Bottom number also carved.
Interesting effect with flat paint strokes covered with glaze. Photogrammetry calculate them as a pit.
Indeed @frankmaraite :)
Excellent one! Staffpick :)
Wow! I'm always tripped up by reflective surfaces. You've really overcome it here. Great job!
@JohnLeigh We use photogrammetry for producing the models, with @nebulousflynn using a light tent and Canon compact camera for this. Slight modifications with blender.
A great result, did the original reflective surface of the object give you any trouble?
thats real nice - are you guys able to share how you are creating these models and textures/materials - is it using some sort of hand scanner ?
The quality of this scan is incredible, amazing piece
Wow! Should be staff pick.
