Modular Assets for Mobile VR (Environment)
Breakdown of modular assets for an upcoming VR scene. Uses one texture atlas for Albedo/Diffuse. Some pieces use an additional Albedo and Normal map shared with the modular house assets.
17 modular components plus “island” geometry can be used to create a wide variety of environmental layouts.
Modeling and assembly in Blender. Normal Maps generated using xNormal from high-resolution geometry sculpted in ZBrush. Texture painting in 3D-Coat, Photoshop and Krita.
