More model informationA 3D model of the Fauno Rosso from Hadrian’s Villa with a cupid added. This statue was one of several hybrid creatures depicted at Hadrian’s Villa. The Fauno Rosso, without the cupid, dates to the second century AD. Found in 1736 by Guiseppe Furietti, the statue was gifted to the Pope. Shortly after in 1751 Bartolomeo Cavaceppi heavily restored the statue adding a number of elements. The statue is currently held in the Capitoline Museum.
