Demolition on the Metcalf South Mall next to Sears has begun. Crews are carefully removing salvageable material suitable for recycling. The mall is located in Overland Park, Kansas and built in 1967. Stiff competition ensued over the years and by the early 2000’s, was largely vacant and became a dead mall.
