More model informationThis carving is located 2.5m high on the cross tower of Abbeylara Abbey (Camin O’Brien Archaeology.ie) . It is heavily worn and weathered. The head is round, with ears and large round eyes . Nose and mouth worn. The head blends into the body and the Knees are pulled up the chin (similar to Athlone) . The arms are long and descend from the rear of the body. The left is straight down bent at the elbow with the hand above the ankle. The right arm extend back from the shoulder and bends at the elbow with the hand grasping the ankle. Breasts are not clear. They may be obscured by the knees, are appear over the knees. Difficult to tell. The vulva is a lozenge shape, anus is also shown as round hole. The feet appear to be broken.
