More model informationThis polished flint axehead is a Scandinavian thick-butted form dating from the Scandinavian middle Neolithic (c.3200-2800 cal BC). It exhibits neatly flaked side facets that are unlike any axehead from Orkney. This implement has been extensively handled and exhibits a greasy glossy lustre. Length: 144 mm.
