More model informationIncomplete and decimated model of Badger Stone. This is one of the paradigmatic carved rocks of Ilkley Moor. The carvings were executed on an almost vertical surface of the boulder, but there are also a few motifs on one of the lateral faces as well. The rock is profusely decorated with a number of different motifs. In some cases the natural features of the boulder were enhanced or used to create the motifs. Badger rock is also known for displaying one of the “famous” swastikas of Ilkley Moor.
