More model informationA rare and beautiful silver bow brooch. It consists of a gold circular head with small gold globules scattered over it. Surrounding the gold is silver beading, There are knobs on either side (one broken) at the end of a spiral spring. The projecting disc at the waist is decorated with silver beading and globules. The foot is decorated with three strands of plaited gold wire. There is a knob missing from the foot base and a globule on either side of the gold plaiting on the foot. The pin is missing from the reverse. It is possibly an Almgren 101 form, a relative of the knee brooch.
