Low-fired clay food vessel with collared rim. Restored from numerous pieces.
This urn was originally excavated as part of the excavation of a Bronze Age burial cairn at Noon Hill, Bolton by the Bolton Archaeological Society during the 1950’s.
The pieces were reconstructed and have been on display in various forms since 1958.
