19th-century relish dish with Napoleonic scene
A small ceramic relish pot that dates to the early 19th century was discovered at Cemex’s Portslade Wharf, East Sussex. It is a pale blue earthenware decorated with a polychrome transfer featuring a battle scene. The depicted military uniforms are probably related to the Napoleonic period.
