As a disclaimer: The age on this model is showing tremendously and it no longer represents my best work. I have re-rigged it to make it a bit more presentable, but if you into edit mode whatever you see there is not my fault.

Important note: Controls for a basic IK/FK are on the root bone. Select the root and look inside the ‘N’ panel -> ‘Item’ tab -> ‘Properties’. You will also find a binary toggle for subsurf on the entire model here. I recommend turning subsurf off entirely (‘0’ on the toggle) otherwise it’s going to run real slow. The file also has ‘Simplify’ turned on by default with a max level of one.
