West Bank Ramesside Royal Stelae
These three stelae are standing on the west side of the Nile. They have been preserved between two quarry front. They were erected from south to north (here from left to right) by Ramesses III, Sheshonq I and Ramesses IV respectively. They clearly have been the subject of a local cult and below them are to be seen the traces of the Nileflood that was licking their foot yearly at the beginning of summer.
