Early Islamic Art
Islamic art places an extreme emphasis on surface relief and patterns. Especially in the early ages, Islamic art subject matter was very limited, so many followers were left to create geometric patterns through surface relief. These depictions were so intricate and detailed that many continue this process for many years.
The process of small-scale photogrammetry, or image-based modeling, needs high-quality images from all different angles of the subject or subjects. I am still learning the post-production process of image-based modeling as you can tell by the overall quality of the model, however, the camera hardware, such as the 16 MP resolution and 4/3 sensor (17.3mm x 13.0mm) has aided the detail of the model.
This is the first model in which I processed multiple meshes in order to build one whole complete mesh.
