More model informationThe jacal structure at the Kallstrom Homestead site represents some the earliest construction in Montrose County Colorado. Manufactured from upright slats lashed to a pole framework, and covered in mud, the jacal is believed to have been constructed before the railroad would have brought manufactured building supplies to the area (circa 1882). Alpine employed photogrammetry software to create this 3D model from over 450 medium format digital SLR photographs taken during field recording in 2017.
