Ness of Brodgar 2015 Excavations

A 3d photogrammetry model of the main excavation (Trench P) at the Ness of Brodgar, Stenness, Orkney. 605 20mp images were used to make this model. The photographs were taken vertically from a Canon 70d with 10-18mm lens, fixed at 12mm, mounted on a 4m pole at 2-3m intervals. Additional oblique photos have not yet been incorporated into this model: ultimately these will improve the resolution of vertical wall faces and sections.
