The Capitoline wolf (ref 837), Etruskisk 450 BC, in Rome in front of the Lateran before 1000, to the Capitol Hill since 1471 Rome, Palazzo Conservatori In. 1181, The Royal Cast Collection (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now Remake) from Autodesk.
The Capitoline Wolf (Italian: Lupa Capitolina) is a bronze sculpture of a she-wolf suckling twin human infants, inspired by the legend of the founding of Rome. According to the legend, when Numitor, grandfather of the twins Romulus and Remus, was overthrown by his brother Amulius, the usurper ordered the twins to be cast into the Tiber River. They were rescued by a she-wolf who cared for them until a herdsman, Faustulus, found and raised them. The Capitoline Wolf has been housed since 1471 in the Palazzo dei Conservatori on the Campidoglio (the ancient Capitoline Hill), Rome, Italy. (Wikipedia)

@SpiritTheLoneWolf May be it has been taken away. It won't be the first time a sculpture will be degraded intentionnaly over time:/
@geoffreymarchal
I was just confused as there are the bases for them.
Weird...
@SpiritTheLoneWolf This is a 3Dscan. So if something is missing from the original sculpture, it won't be present in the 3Dscan.
@geoffreymarchal
original sculpture?
but in the model, it even has the two bases for them both?
@SpiritTheLoneWolf This is a very good question. I don't know why the original sculpture do not include Romulus and Remus.
What happened to Romulus and Remus?
Merci @pattarrian
Comment from @pattarrian :"the sculpture might not be from etruscan period but medieval time. At least the C14 analysis from the wax shown that. However, we do not have clear conclusion so far. Romulus and Remus sculpture might have been added in 1471 after this main sculpture have been offered to Pope Sixte IV"
@Vlad and thanks you for the advice about sharpen the pictures ;)
@pattarrian Tous le plaisir est pour moi
@Vlad I tried with RealityCapture and the back is fine. So I will soon post the new model.
merci Geoffrey !
@geoffreymarchal as soon as object do not have any contrast paints or labels, try Sharpen a bit photos in Lightroom (or Smart Sharpen in Photoshop). This will help find more "features" on top part of model, so CapturingReality (or Memento) better reconstruct this part.
Thanks Vlad! This is indeed a very good question. Actually, I will redo the model with RealityCapture and see if it does the same. I checked the pictures and they were good. But it is a matter of fact that the sculpture was taller than I am ;). All these pictures have been done in a rush before leaving Denmark and it is only now that I realize the pictures should have been better :(.
Nice object!
But what happen with top? Is this object too tall and again hard to took photos of top? Or you do not have enough overlap between side and top cameras, so photogrammetry app just ignore them?
