More model informationAn Iron age univallate hill fort with simple dump rampart possibly unfinished, enclosing c.7 acres and in use from c. 800BC to 42AD. It is situated immediately north of the Ridgeway on Whitehorse Hill, in the parish of Kingston Lisle, Vale of White Horse, Oxfordshire.
Using MOLA’s SUA, the survey was conducted at a height of 60 meters. Flying in a strict grid pattern, some 200 overlapping and geo-tagged images were taken, with each pixel representing approximately 3cm on the ground.
