It is very smooth and shiny. It was most likely used for drinking tea or coffee. This is a very nice artifact so it was probably special to the owner. It was most likely used by the chief factor because he was very important at Fort Vancouver. This artifact show technological change because they were able to transfer print art on to it. It can also show what the users diet was like. They most likely drank tea or coffee.
